Lady Vickie Gillison is a devoted woman of faith, servant leader, and advocate for spiritual growth, healing, and empowerment. A lifelong member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church for over 32 years, she faithfully serves alongside her husband, Pastor Dwayne Gillison, Sr., supporting the vision and mission of the church with grace and humility.
Lady Vickie currently leads the MOBC Daughters of the King ministry, where she is passionate about encouraging young women to walk boldly in their God-given identity, purpose, and strength. Her ministry is rooted in compassion and biblical truth, with a heart for spiritual maturity.
Professionally, Lady Vickie holds a Master’s degree in social work and is a licensed therapist, as well as a Master’s degree in Education Leadership. She serves as an Assistant Principal in the Buffalo Public School District and has been a dedicated school leader for over 5 years. With extensive experience in sexual assault, domestic violence, and family therapy, she brings a trauma-informed, compassionate approach that deeply informs her ministry and leadership.
Lady Vickie is a proud mother of three children and grandmother of two, and she treasures family as one of God’s greatest blessings. Her favorite scripture is Psalm 139:14, serves as a foundation for her faith and ministry. “I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, and I know that full well.”
